TRAVEL GALAPAGOS 1960s
My project explores the theme “Through the Lens of Time” by imagining a vintage 1960s travel promotion for the Galapagos Islands, featuring a timeworn poster and a video styled like old Super 8 film.
Inspired by National Geographic and Charles Darwin’s discoveries, both pieces blend nostalgia with a subtle sense of mystery, using aged textures, film-like colors, and looming sound design to shift the tone from charming to unsettling.
The result is a visual narrative that feels both historical and strangely out of place, inviting viewers to wonder what was left out or lost over time.
